Lady Gaga has officially jumped the shark… or should that be unicorn, or motorcycle, or egg? Hmmm… Let’s just say she’s jumped “whatever she’s riding on this week.”
For her latest song and video, “Judas,” Gaga promised lots of controversy, and for the first time in her three year career she fails to deliver any spark or spontaneity.
I’ll admit the fashions sported by Gaga are a definite upgrade from her latest latex ensembles and the brief bridge interlude that comes at 3:45 is stunning. But, “Judas” never dares to make a statement — like “Alejandro” did — beyond the fashion, nor does it try to anything stylistically new. Add on the sloppy dancing and its an overall mess.
Where’s the Gaga of “Telephone” fame who was self-referential and spunky? I really hope (or in this case, pray) for the sake of her career that she can find her somewhere underneath all those shoulder padded frocks.
I think it’s stupid that everybody gets this. I see it everywhere, I think people should at least try to be original with their tattoos.
